Wow, that was one of the hardest things to do is to pick a winner, I had a fav from just about everyone.  Seriously, I could not decide, we had some really great shots from everyone.

I picked this winner, based on the image, of the feel of Hawaii, Koloa, and the local style.

Hey Jo!

It’s Kelsy (red hair), Jarod’s s.o.  : )  I believe I figured out the issue with photos in the group pool not being viewable by the public (who are non Flickr members, or just not signed in).  You have to change the Flagged status of the photos (which can be done individually, by clicking on “Flag your photo” on the bottom right of the page when you are viewing your photo individually; or you can batch edit the status of your photos by going to Organize > All Your Content (or whatever set you would like to edit) > clicking on the ‘Permissions’ drop down > Hide/show in public searches.  Make sure the check box is clear.

The above process seemed to work for me when I tinkered around with Jarod’s profile for a bit, trying to figure it out.  If it seems like you cleared it, but when you go back to view the flag status of your photo(s) to make sure, and it’s still checked.. Clear the Temporary Internet Files and Cookies of your computer.  This can be done by going to ‘Tools’ in your web browser, ‘Internet Options’, then clicking the Delete button in the Browsing History section of the ‘General’ tab.

Feel free to post these instructions, since I know others are having this issue (I can see way more photos in the group pool when I am signed in to Jarod’s profile than when I am trying to view it without being signed in).  Please e-mail me at kelsynaka@hotmail.com or call me at 808-652-8118 if you have any questions.

 It was awesome meeting you!

OUR Group flickr site (click link here)

**Just a reminder**

Deadline to enter any of the contests is

AUG 26 @ 12 midnight

I have been receiving a few requests to join the flickr site, but not everyone is uploading to that group. They are uploading to their account but not to the group.

I was having trouble helping Tami Riley do hers yesterday. I will see if I can help you with a few steps below.

1.    ** TIP ** It is a good idea to have your files ready in a separate folder.

2.    If you don’t have a yahoo account, you need to make one as your first step

3.    Then if you haven’t done so already you will need to create a “FLICKER” account also here you will be prompted to enter your yahoo account and password.

4.    (if you do, then go to the next step “Join this group”) Once you are signed in, you will see the photos that have already been uploaded by a few in our group.

5.    Go to “JOIN THIS GROUP” (under the bold title) this part you will have to get an approval first then you will be able to upload.

6.    Once your into the flicker account you will need to upload your images, here you can upload in two ways:

7.    SIMPLE: Just above the thumbnails on the right side of your screen, you will see “ADD PHOTOS” click on that, and you will be prompted to upload no more than 6 a time (drag and drop) or,

8.    MORE COMPLEX: click on “HOME”,  (top left of screen), then on the upper right side of the screen you will see “Upload photo’s of video” click on that. You will be prompted to upload their “software up loader” (mac or pc) Install only if you think your going to be using flickr more than this contest or simply if you want a up loader that will do more than six at a time (select all the files you plan on uploading, you can do more than 6 at a time here).  If you go this route, click on each of the images, and drag them into the box above, once you get all the ones you want to upload, you click on ad to group.

9.    Click on the “GROUP” and make sure that your images appear with everyone else’s.

10. Then you’re good to go.

11. Today would be the day I can help people this early morning.  I have a pretty full plate with some visitors coming to visit. Or later, after 6P.
